Practice Summary
Glenn has 10 years broad research experience in the areas of medicinal chemistry, peptide therapeutics, microarray technology and DNA-binding proteins. He has significant industry experience in small biotechnology companies.

As a co-founder and Director of Chemistry of the venture capital backed startup Ethos Pharmaceuticals (Redwood City, CA) Glenn was responsible for liaising with counsel in the development of the company’s IP portfolio in peptide therapeutics. He also established a bioanalytical lab and validated peptidomimetic chemistries. As a Research Scientist at Somalogic (Boulder, CO) he developed assay technologies including DNA photoaptamer microarrays, protein bioconjugation and surface chemistries, for use in clinical diagnostic products.

As a Senior Scientist at the Burger Drug Discovery Center (University of Virginia) he developed technology for the synthesis and screening of encoded small molecule libraries, chemistries for combinatorial libraries, and mapped a series of epitope monoclonal antibody interactions.

As a New Zealand FORST Postdoctoral Fellow (at University of Virginia) he developed a new capillary electrophoresis mobility shift assay for DNA-binding proteins, and synthesized Helix-Turn-Helix mimetic peptides for investigation of DNA binding interactions.

Glenn has published several peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Proteomics, Chem. Comm., Nucleic Acids Res., J. Chem. Soc. Perkins. and Acta Chemica Scandinavica and an invited chapter in Methods in Molecular Biology.
